Mainline rehabilitation is the process of restoring aging or deteriorated sewer pipelines that serve as the primary “mainline” carriers in a collection system. These pipelines often suffer from cracks, leaks, root intrusion, corrosion, or joint failures that allow inflow and infiltration (I/I), exfiltration, and structural instability. Rehabilitation renews the pipe without the need for full dig-and-replace construction.
