Grout

Grouting is a trenchless technique that prevents leaks in maintenance access holes and sewer pipes without requiring more involved and expensive structural repairs. It works well for patching leaky joints and pipes, caulking minor fissures, and filling in soil gaps around pipes. Drilling holes in the general vicinity of the pipe wall leak is known as grouting. Through the drilled holes, workers inject grout into the surrounding soil from inside the pipe. The grout stabilizes the soil and creates a waterproof seal outside the pipe as it spreads and solidifies. After drilling holes, workers plug them to create a tight seal inside the pipe.
